Privacy Policy

The short version

SlothCal is a scheduling tool. We collect the minimum data needed to make it work. We don't sell your data, we don't show you ads, and we don't do anything creepy. That's the gist — the rest is the details.

What we collect

When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from your Google account. We store this to create and manage your SlothCal account.

If you connect your Google Calendar, we access your calendar data to check availability and create events when someone books a meeting with you. We only read and write calendar events — we don't access your contacts, emails, or any other Google data.

When someone books a meeting through your SlothCal page, we collect their name and email address to send booking confirmations and calendar invitations.

Payment information

Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your credit card number. Stripe handles all payment data directly. We only store a Stripe customer ID to link your account to your subscription.

Analytics

We use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-friendly analytics tool. Plausible doesn't use cookies, doesn't track you across sites, and doesn't collect personal data. We get anonymous, aggregate statistics about page views and nothing more.

How we use your data

Your data is used to provide the scheduling service — showing your availability, creating bookings, sending confirmation emails, and syncing with your calendar. That's it. We don't use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to making SlothCal work.

Data sharing

We don't sell your personal data to anyone. We share data only with the services needed to run SlothCal: Google (for authentication and calendar sync), Stripe (for payments), and Resend (for sending emails). Each of these services has their own privacy policies.

Data storage and security

Your data is stored securely and we use encryption in transit (HTTPS) for all connections. We don't store passwords — authentication is handled entirely through Google's OAuth system.

Your rights

You can delete your entire account and all associated data at any time from the Settings page. When you delete your account, we remove all your data including your profile, event types, bookings, and calendar connections. If you've connected Google Calendar, we also revoke our access to your Google account.

Cookies

SlothCal uses only essential cookies required for authentication (keeping you logged in). We don't use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or any third-party cookies.

Changes to this policy

If we make significant changes to this privacy policy, we'll update this page. For any questions, reach out to [email protected].
